This practice can be done with any fitness level! You will need a chair for some of the exercises as well as a Yoga block and strap. The routine starts from standing and progresses to the floor to target common issues with lower back to improve posture and increase mobility.
The therapeutic sequence in this video is designed to strengthen muscles of the hips, low back, and lower leg that contribute to low back health. Experience a biomechanical approach to many classic one leg balance poses using a chair and yoga belt for assistance. Next, integrate the hips and spine with several strengthening standing asanas. Finish with several seated forward bends and prone back bends to improve the strength and mobility of the lower back.
