The barre adds a fresh element to the traditional Pilates Mat routine. In this video, you will need a small sponge ball and a support from a barre, wall or chair. Exercises are grouped together according to joint motion, such as spinal and hip flexion. Get stronger, more toned legs and achieve more stability in your ankles from the standing work. The combined floorwork will help create a solid core as muscles are able to sustain contractions over a wider range for longer periods of time .
