Video 256 | Back and Shoulder Supersets (45 Minute workout) with Lauren Eirk

27-Sep-2021
This resistance training workout will explore the "superset" or long set of exercises using dumbbells and a TheraBand. Supersets can increase the difficulty of the workout and improve muscle gain since you can get more done in the time you have. Performing exercises with similar muscle groups back to back can save time and increase intensity by reducing the rest interval between the exercises.
Muscles of the back and shoulder that are challenged in this workout will play an agonistic role in directly dealing with load. These agonist supersets allow you to increase the intensity of your workout by overloading muscles. We will do each superset two times followed by an isometric Yoga position to ensure muscular balance.
