Piriformis Syndrome Recipe

04-Sep-2024
In this routine, we will be incorporating Yoga-inspired multi-joint postures in a very specific way in order to improve the strength of the external and "deep" rotators of the hip joints. If you have ever had a hard time sitting on the floor, some of the reasons could come from weakness!
We will begin from a standing position using isometrics from friction, bodyweight, and a Yoga strap. Next, we will practice many floor positions with blocks and bodyweight to further enhance our strength in various joint positions. This practice is so beneficial to your hips!
This routine is gentle and highly cued with many modifications given throughout. All levels are welcome. There is a short relaxation at the end to help you assimilate all that you have felt in your body!
