It is normal to feel somewhat intimidated with exercising on a stability ball. The first time you use a ball, it is normal to feel unstable as your nervous system works to become acclimated with the dynamic nature of the ball. The ball is wonderful for supporting the joints due to the soft, curved surface. It is especially beneficial for the curves of the spine!
In this video, learn about how we can use resistance challenges, balance challenges, and dynamic challenges to make exercises feel more challenging. Understand the basic positions on the ball, including standing, sitting, supine incline, supine elevated leg, supine elevated torso, plank, side-lying, and prone over ball variations. This video is packed full of information to help you get the most from your stability ball workouts!
