On day 13 we will be incorporating lateral flexion for the total body. You will get a chance to repeat and hone some of the isometrics from Day 12 in this series so that you can perfect these! The beginning of the routine includes We will be using isolated and integrated isometrics for this routine. Even though certain types of isometrics can be very intense, we will be performing isometrics for the purpose of muscle activation, so the resistance used should not include shaking or cramping. The workout begins in a prone / face-down position with a thigh band for some extension work. Next, we will work on some plank positions. As we move to standing, experience some fun upper body exercises with the TheraBand, followed by some challenging integrated lower body positions.
Day 13 includes:
Prone Hip Extension with Abduction (Thigh Band)
Plank with Abduction (Thigh Band)
Side Plank with Abduction
Sumo Stance: Shoulder Abduction (theraband)
Side Bend Evaluation standing
By the end of the routine, you will feel energized, upright, and balanced.
