This challenging low-impact barre session is designed to be a complete workout for your muscular and cardiovascular systems while being kind to your joints! We will use Gliding Disks (link below) that can be substituted with paper plates or hand towels. Using friction, you can challenge our muscles through a greater range and alter the amount of resistance you feel.
For variety and fun, contrast effects of the sliding disks with weighted dumbbells to strategically load muscles of the upper extremities. This workout will also incorporate a bit of Yoga isometric positions to help strengthen our range of motion.
